Monty, Security Officer
Monty calls Sue his person and came from the Pawsitive Difference Pet Rescue in Las Vegas in 2018. As our security officer, he lets us know when people are arriving or leaving, when other dogs come onto the property, when dogs or people leave their spots, when someone uses the bathroom.. He takes his job very seriously!
Theo, Keeper of Peace
Theo is the most loving dog you will ever meet! His job is to cuddle with anyone who needs it. As a rescue dog he came with some health challenges and was put on a healthy diet and Kairos herbs immediately. Like Monty, he also came from the Pawsitive Difference Las Vegas Pet Rescue and calls Sue his person.
During production days, he patiently waits on our feet to clean up any dropped pieces.
Julie Schultz' Dogs
Jypsy, Taste Tester
As a picky eater, Jypsy helps with the development and especially the palatability of new products. Jypsy just loves people and wants to play with everyone! She is also very good at distracting her person Karen from her work.
Even though she is a small dog, she enjoys hiking and can walk for hours, easily scaling hills like a tiny mountain goat. RUFF BARS are a welcome treat at any part of the day.
Susan Moore, CEO
Sue is the driving force behind RUFF BAR. She purchased the small business in early 2018 and in one year took it from rolling bars by hand with only a handful of sales and very little social engagement to mass producing bars at a facility with many sales and over 10K of instagram followers! She creatively solves problems, manages orders, creates to-do lists, coordinates her team, dreams up new products, thinks about non-profit organizations to donate to and other ways to benefit the community, posts on Instagram and Facebook, networks... Always keeping the big picture in mind: sustainable, dog appropriate, healthy and tasty snacks with the smallest foot print possible.
Karen Wegehenkel, Design
With RUFF BAR Karen finally found a way to combine all her passions (graphic and website design, photography, doing something good for animals, energy work) into one worthy cause! When she is not on the computer working on the next label, the website or the newsletter, she is out taking photos or playing with her puppy Jypsy.
Being new to dogs (but not animals) she is passionate about good nutrition, the environment and natural solutions to health problems.
